This piece was painted in a way that was new and surprising to me. Over the summer I received small pockets of time to work on my art. At first that was frustrating, but over the course of a few weeks I grew to enjoy it. If you look closely, you can almost see that transition in this piece.

Contrasting colors collide while they slip back beneath the hues of blue and green. A pop of pink and ochre keep your eyes moving, searching to see what is about to surface. If you look closely, you see the heart shapes bubbling up from below.

“In Time” is a reminder that time is what we make of it. We can chose to use it in long periods, or steal small pieces of it when they come around. We find, in the end, both can be enough.
